The new generation of board protectors extends the lifetime of wooden and plastic boards, rubber molds and metal plates whilst avoiding the problems traditionally experienced when using an emulsion. It prevents wooden boards from drying out, as well as the build-up on plastic boards or rubber molds. Furthermore, an effective emulsion prevents pressed blocks from drawing a vacuum and sticking to the mold when using wet concrete. Ideally, an emulsion can be applied before and after board turning, suppresses dust and substantially reduces the cleaning time of the boards.
